Executive Director/Owner : Kirsten Benson has worked with children for over 17 years. She has a B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Human Service Agency Management, and an M.S.E. in Educational Counseling. Kirsten is also a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Psychological Examiner. Mrs. Benson has worked hard to build a school in which the school community is rewarding, as well as, nurturing, loving, and educational. Mrs. Benson values the differences in children and believes all children are a gift from God.

School Director : Mrs. Angel Layher has worked at Greenbrier Montessori since 1998. Angel has worked with each age group as a lead teacher, as well as being the Assistant Director. She started with the two year olds and after taking one year off she supervised the infant/toddler unit. In 2001 Mrs. Layher finished her Montessori certification thru NAMC and began teaching in the preschool classroom (3-5yrs). Angel began working full time as Director in the 2009-2010 school year.

Assistant Director/ Lead Cottage Teacher : Mrs. Heather Zwicky has been teaching at Greenbrier since 2001. She has enjoyed teaching in all of the classrooms, but truly loves working with the early preschool children. As well as her classroom duties, her role as Assistant Director puts her in charge of the nutritional components of menu planning for our on site kitchen. For the school year 2010-2011, Heather will be teaching the Cottage Classroom. She is very excited about working with our early preschoolers.

Her main goals are to make sure that even the littlest student feels cared for while reaching their full potential academically.

She has experience working with all ages, but has found her calling with the preschool age classroom. For the past two years she has been the lead Montessori teacher in the early preschool classroom. Mrs. Ramsey is AMS Montessori Certified. She also has a love of music which she brings to The Children's House classroom as well.

Assistant Teacher -The Children's House : Ms. Alicia Rudolph-Nagy has just moved back to the state of Missouri and returned to her position here as the assistant teacher in The Children's House Classroom. She is the mother of three and truly enjoys working with the students in her classroom. She and Meredith make a wonderful team.

Teacher-The Nest : Ms. Jan Collier, the newest addition to the Greenbrier staff is the mother of two. She has two daughters ages 7 and 4. She is a wonderful addition to our baby room staff. Jan enjoys reading and singing with our littlest students. She is working on her degree in Education.

Assistant Teacher-The Nest : Mrs. Carolyn Wood has been with Greenbrier Montessori for four years. She is the person who will greet you in the morning with her bright and smiling personality. Ms. Carolyn works with our precious littlest students in The Nest. She loves nothing more than caring for our babies.

Assistant Teacher : Mrs. Stephanie LeBlount has been a part of the Greenbrier staff since 2002. Being flexible is Stephanie's most valuable asset. Her smile and caring personality can be seen in each of our classrooms on a daily basis.

Assistant Teacher : Miss Lisa Bryan is our after school teacher. She is the shining face parents see at pick up time. Lisa is currently pursuing a degree in Education. Lisa has been with Greenbrier for almost one year.
