A Beautiful Extension to
our Classrooms
Greenbrier is blessed with a beautiful one acre fully fenced playground area. This is not only a place for running, jumping and large muscle activities, but a wealth of nature experiences. Our play yard is truly an extension of our classroom. It is a place to explore plants, trees and animals. The children have seen deer at a distance, found several turtles and enjoyed watching the many birds that nest in our trees.
Each classroom has a specific outdoor play time. That allows them full access to the many wonders of our great outdoor classroom. We even set up our patio area with magnifying glasses, bug catchers and materials to draw or sketch what they see in nature. The children never tire of playing and exploring outside.
